RST MAD visit Tamar

Our RST MAD team recently took a trip to the Tamar centre to present them with a wonderful cheque which they raised through recent initiatives. Read all about their day below summarised by two of our very own MAD members. 

First, all the members who were going to Tamar met at the front of the Prep building after our English lesson. We then got on a bus together and started the exciting trip! We traveled around 30 minutes and arrived at the destination, Tamar. As we were there, Mrs Steffi, who was the owner, invited us in and we shared the exciting news that RST MAD raised 9,380 baht on Valentines day.                         

Next, Mrs Steffi showed us how they make coffee and cards that had tiny roses (all handmade!) and some of us tried to make them but sadly most of us couldn't quite do it. After that each of us got a lunch bag, then we went to a big room on the second floor where we had lunch with a wonderful cookie made by the staff.

After everyone finished their food, we started our special activity which was piping cream and decorating a chocolate cupcake. They showed us how to create different kinds of designs using the piping tools and we even learned how to pipe roses! Soon, we started decorating our own. First we made one that we took home and then we made another one that we ate right there.

When it was time to leave, we thanked everyone there for teaching us. Finally, we took our bags, water bottles and got on the bus. As we left we waved goodbye. We arrived back at School just in time for the last lesson.
