RST Co-Hosts Second Global University Fair

 

Last weekend, RST was proud to co-host the second Eastern Region University Counsellors Global University Fair at the stunning Centara Grand Mirage resort in Pattaya.

This event brought together over 100 global universities, offering students on the Eastern Seaboard a unique opportunity to engage directly with institutions from across the world. Countries represented at the fair included Australia, Belgium, Bhutan, Canada, China, France, Germany, Grenada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, the UK, and the US.

Students and families were able to explore a variety of global higher education systems, discover potential courses, and gain a deeper understanding of university life, helping them make informed decisions about their future academic and career paths.

A highlight of the event was a series of specialist seminars, including an insight into the US holistic admissions process. A global panel also shared invaluable insights into studying in the UK, Hungary, and Switzerland. Attendees were particularly captivated by Professor Shanton Chang from the University of Melbourne, who delivered an engaging lecture on the ever-growing field of IT, emphasising the importance of digital skills for future employability.
