Our teaching staff meet the high standards and undergo a rigorous selection process involving Rugby UK. They have a degree in their subject, passion for supporting student success and experience teaching A-level.

A Level Qualifications

We offer A Levels, which are a gold standard for global university entrance. Our students do 3-5 subjects and these can be any combination. This system replicates the IB, but with more flexibility.

A Levels allow students to specialise in certain areas of study (for example sciences) and many global universities recognise the deeper level of knowledge and understanding when subjects are taken onto degree level after A Level.

Tutoring system

Every student is assigned a tutor, who mentors them through the challenges of Sixth Form. Tutors offer weekly 1-to-1 support and can assist both academically and on a pastoral level, ensuring your child is thriving in all areas of school life.

Your tutor will help set up in-house IELTS preparation and bespoke EAL support where needed. They are also on hand for university application support to institutions in almost any country, including UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, continental Europe and SE Asia.

University Preparations

School life is full and busy, with lots of leadership co-curricular opportunities, so our students have plenty of material to bolster university applications. We also offer a bespoke activities programme (such as Oxbridge, engineering or medical preparations) and admissions test support.
On a more practical level, our Sixth Form can partake in a ‘getting ready for university’ course that teaches important life skills such as cookery, budgeting, how to find accommodation, understanding on how to fund courses, looking for part-time roles etc.
Our students apply for global universities and there is opportunity for international university visits.

Prepare for life by boarding in Sixth Form

Sixth Form boarders have more time to study, more support from tutors and more opportunity to do co-curricular activities. Boarding is great preparation for university life, teaching children to be more independent as they prepare for the next step.
We know that boarding itself can feel like a big leap, which is why we're currently offering boarding taster nights. If you'd like to register your child to stay the night after the Sixth Form open evening, so they can get a real gauge of what it's like, please contact us by clicking the button below:
