Academic

The academic side of camp makes learning part of the fun. It is led by Rugby School Thailand staff and offers a choice of English Intermediate, English Advanced or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

English Intermediate

These lessons are for children with some ability in English, but who are looking to extend their understanding. Students will have a mix of reading, writing and speaking, developing their understanding of the English language.

English Intermediate

These lessons are for children who have a good grasp of English and want to progress further. A more grammatical and descriptive approach to reading, writing and speaking will be applied.

STEM

These lessons are for the fluent English speakers. STEM education is an interdisciplinary approach to learning where rigorous academic concepts are coupled with real-world lessons as students apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in contexts that make connections between school, community, work, and the global enterprise.

EAL

(Summer Camp only) – For children who have little or no English we offer a structured programme of English lessons every day. This differs slightly from the day camper as children taking the EAL programme will have two sessions each day (except on excursion days) and two sessions where they will join their tribe for activities.

Adventure Camp

One of the unique features at Rugby School Thailand is our purpose built Outdoor Education Centre. Built from natural materials and in traditional style, in a secluded corner of the campus, it is an exciting escape from the modern world. It’s a place to ignite passion and wonder, while learning ancient skills; from making fires, building shelters, purifying water and brewing tea from plants, to taking a leap of faith along the 125m zip line, testing agility on a high ropes course, firing arrows, climbing and abseiling. As with much of the camp, we aim to help children see a green and sustainable side of the world here.

Sports

Our extensive sports grounds and world-class coaches will enable children to see the huge variety of sports games available, while fostering a love for being active. We will primarily be offering football, basketball, tennis and swimming for all children at the camp.

Excursions

While we are blessed with a whole host of activities to do on site, there are also lots of excellent places to visit in our local area. In addition to cultural excursions, we like to show the children the importance of giving back to society, with a fun and fulfilling community service afternoon that demonstrates how we can all do our bit for the world.

Boarding

Rugby School Thailand has two very well-equipped boarding houses that can house up to 72 children. Each house has stunning views across the campus, and four floors with spacious bedrooms, bathroom facilities, a kitchen and a common room. The houses have been designed to provide a home from home for all children, with house staff on hand to ensure everyone is happy (as well as on-site matrons, nurses and 24 hour security).
