Drama is a powerful and enriching subject which values creativity above all else. Enactment has been a means of storytelling for thousands of years, and today it continues to be a very relevant part of academic, cultural and personal exploration. We expose our pupils to a wide range of styles and themes and use the subject to promote collaboration, problem-solving, self-discipline and empathy. Pupils will also learn important communication skills that can be taken into life beyond school.
At Rugby School Thailand drama is academically rigorous. Whether studying Shakespeare, comedy, musical theatre or Greek Tragedy, we aim to challenge both the body and mind – a fundamental aspect of ‘the whole person’ at the centre of our school ethos.
