Here are a few highlights from our Class of 2022 university offers

Grace

Grace started on our elite universities programme in Year 11 and after three years has secured offers from the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, the University of St Andrews, the University of Bath and the University of Manchester to read Physics or Natural Sciences. Grace is taking 5 A Levels, which has allowed her to pursue her passion for Art alongside her love of Science and Mathematics. Her involvement in Art, Music and Sports competitions, as well as academic co-curricular activities, such as British Physics Olympiad, has given Grace a rounded education and a strong application profile.

Tan

Tan joined the elite universities programme two years ago and his individually tailored curriculum saw him independently experimenting with a biomass generator system, complete MOOCs with the University of Michigan and undertake several work experience placements with different engineering firms. Tan has secured offers to read Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, University College London, King’s College London and the University of Manchester.

Delight

As a budding actress the pandemic proved a real challenge for Delight. Working with the Head of Drama, she created a bespoke portfolio of films as part of her applications. She was fortunate enough to have access to our professional-standard ‘Black Box’ drama studio, which portrayed Delight’s talents in the best possible light. Delight has now secured an offer to the highly prestigious Rose Bruford College (where she would join Alumni such as Gary Oldman), as well as a scholarship to the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts.

Mikoto

Mikoto joined us as part of an exchange programme from his school in Japan and decided to stay to complete his A Levels. With intensive English support, Mikoto took three A Levels and supplemented this by studying for a Certified Ethical Hacker Certificate. He also completed UK Maths and Physics challenges along the way. Mikoto has offers to study Computer Science at University College London and Cyber Security at the universities of Warwick, Coventry and Southampton.
