Academic excellence is the mainstay of a Rugby School education. We have world-class teachers here to support and guide students to reach their full potential in selected subjects at iGCSE and A Level, while also maintaining co-curricular pursuits that make university applications truly stand out.

Our current XX (Year 13) Sixth Form cohort are coming to the pinnacle of their school career and university offers have been flying in. This year weโ€™ve had a fantastic variety of degree subject choices, including Dentistry, Law, Art, Architecture, Biotechnology, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Political Science… the list goes on!

Here are a few highlights from our current offers:

Georgia

Georgia has known for a long time that she wants to be an accountant. So far she has received offers from all 5 UCAS applications including Bath and Nottingham. She also has an offer to do a degree-level apprenticeship at leading global accounting firm, Ernst & Young. There were over 10,000 applicants for this position! As head girl she was able to demonstrate her leadership and having designed an accounting system for our charity efforts was able to stand out from 1000โ€™s of applicants.

Chris

Chris has received offers from all five of his UK university options to study Electrical Engineering – Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough and Aston. Being able to use the world class design and technology facilities at RST has inspired Chris to become an engineer.

Tiger

Tiger has been enjoying our Sixth Form Additional Maths programme and his commitment has resulted in offers to study Economics atย  Warwick, Manchester University, Royal Holloway and Kings London.ย

Lindsay

Lindsay has offers to study Maths at Bristol, Manchester, St Andrews and Warwick, all highly ranked for the subject. The bespoke maths programme she studied included a specialist qualification (MAT) that helped her gain such prestigious offers.

Nene

Nene is currently part of our Sixth Form medical programme which helped prepare her for the BMAT and the specifics of medical applications. In addition to receiving all five UCAS offers to study Psychology, including offers from the University of Leeds and Loughborough, she has had an unconditional offer to study Dentistry at Thammasat University.

Boris

Boris has always wanted to study in North America and has been delighted to receive an offer from his first choice, to study Political Science at the University of Toronto, Canada. In future he hopes to pursue a career related to politics. Boris was able to study A-level politics which will be an ideal preparation for the course.ย

A Bespoke Journey For All

A university place is not an outcome, but a step on the journey. Whilst we are extremely proud of the excellent offers our students have received โ€“ and the places they will be securing โ€“ we want more for them. We want our students to be ready to make the most of university life when they arrive. We focus on career outcomes, of which university is a part. We place importance on developing character, producing rounded and confident individuals who are able to persevere through challenges. The rigorous academic side of life here is balanced with a variety of activities, from sport to house competitions and charity fundraising, to mention a very few. At Rugby School Thailand, the whole person really is the whole point.
