Years 5 to 8 (Ages 9 to 13)

Group of happy students in uniform

From Year 5 (age 9), our students are becoming much more independent and are confidently able to navigate their way around the Prep School to lessons with specialist subject teachers.

Students have specialists in all subjects, with setting in maths and English starting from Year 7 (aged 11).

In Years 7 and 8 students move away from learning humanities, and instead are taught history and geography separately. Year 7 and 8 students also join our 'Bring your own Device' (BYOD) scheme in preparation for their transition into the Senior School.
