Rugby School Thailand shares its DNA with Rugby UK, our parent school, in every important way. Our ethos, values and traditions are central to our unique identity as a British international school in Thailand, as we continuously strive to fulfil our aim, vision and mission. Our ethos encapsulates our overarching philosophy that each child is an individual and, by definition, different from each other. Being able to find the areas where every child can achieve and flourish allows us to focus on the strengths of each individual and to allow them to learn the key transferable skills that will help them to become the best version of themselves as they progress through the School.

Our Ethos

‘The Whole Person, The Whole Point’. This underpins our value system, seeking to nurture the many different sides of human development and enabling our students to thrive in all aspects of life. Academic excellence remains at the heart of Rugby School Thailand, but sport, art and other creative activities cultivate important skills and help build self confidence and resilience that will, in turn, allow every student over time to improve on their academic potential and performance.  Every human is multi-faceted and different from each other and, as educators, it is beholden on us to educate the whole child.

Our Aim

To improve the outcome of every individual in our School.

Our Vision

To be a world-class leader in day and boarding education.

Our Mission

We are a culturally diverse day and boarding school for 2 to 18-year-olds and our mission is to provide:

  • A broad curriculum delivered by high-quality staff that allows all students to progress.
  • Outstanding opportunities for personal development through the School's learner profile.
  • World-class facilities and an extensive enrichment programme that enables students to develop their own talents and skills.
  • A culture of care that engenders a sense of belonging and community.

'The Whole Person, The Whole Point’ underpins our value system, nurturing the many sides of human development and enabling our students to thrive in all aspects of life.
