SENIOR

Senior | Artist in Residence / Art Technician
The successful applicant will report to the Head of Art (Senior) who is already in post. The Artist in Residence/Art Technician’s main responsibility will be to provide support to teachers in the Senior Art Department, particularly with GCSE and A-Level Art classes. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be able to provide practical support and guidance to both GCSE and A-Level students as well as inspiration through ensuring that students are able to visit and observe their practice and studio space.

Senior | Teacher of Mathematics
Mathematics teachers will be required to promote interest in Mathematics beyond the formal curriculum with pupils being entered in various external competitions, as well as societies that occur during the evenings in the boarding houses. PRE-PREP & PREP

Pre-Prep & Prep school | Music teacher
The Prep and Pre-Prep Music Department are led by Mrs Jo Westlake, who is assisted by one Prep/Pre-Prep Music teacher and a Music Administrator. An outstanding team of visiting music teachers, many of whom are leaders in their field, provide specialist tuition in a wide range of instruments. Over 70% of prep school pupils learn a musical instrument, and there are many ensembles. The Pre-Prep has its own large music classroom and 3 music practice rooms. The Prep School building has two music classrooms and 14 music practice rooms. Both Pre-Prep and Prep have their own theatre for music and drama performances. The successful applicant will ideally be capable of teaching class Music from Pre-Nursery to Year 5, and will report to the Director of Music. Prep school | Post Graduate Assistant Teacher (Y3-8)

Prep school | Learning Support Teacher (Y3-8)
Prep School ‘Support for Learning’ is currently delivered by a Prep School Head of Support for Learning and a Learning Support Teacher. There is also a whole school SENCO. The successful applicant will teach pupils in need of learning support on an individual or small group basis, and will support children in the classroom. Prep school | Head of EAL and English Teacher (Y3-8)
The successful applicant will lead the teaching of English as an Additional Language in the Prep School (Years 3 – 8), and will teach English classes to Prep pupils with EAL needs. He/she will report to the whole school Head of EAL and to the Prep Deputy Head (Academic). Currently there are three EAL teachers within the Prep School and EAL support is provided within the classroom and with individual or small group sessions. For the full job description, click here.

Prep school | Drama teacher (Y3-8)
The Prep School pupils from Years 3 – 8 have weekly drama lessons. There are currently three annual productions, most recently ‘The Lion King’ (Years 5 and 6), ‘Jungle Book’ (Years 3 and 4), and ‘Grimm’s Tales’ (Years 7 and 8). In addition, there are drama activities and LAMDA sessions. The Drama department coordinates its planning with the Music and English departments and receives production support from Art and DT. Prep school | PE & Sports teacher (Y3-8)
Rugby School Thailand is blessed with a campus and sports facilities that are second to none. The School’s ambitious aim is to become one of the top sports schools in Asia. We aim to provide top-level coaching for all pupils – from young beginners, to those who are capable of competing at national level. The successful applicant’s teaching of PE and coaching of sport will focus upon the Prep age group (7 – 13 years old). There will also be some sports coaching in the Pre-Prep School (2 -6 year olds). The Prep Sports Department has 4 PE specialists, 3 swimming specialists, and additional coaching support from many teachers with coaching experience and qualifications.
