Governing Body of Rugby School Thailand

The Governing Body of Rugby School Thailand has overall responsibility for the strategic
development of the School. Governors are appointed by the owners of the School and by Rugby School International Limited, Rugby School’s international arm.

The leadership and management of Rugby School Thailand is delegated to the Principal, who
reports to the Governing Body through the Chair.

Sir John Robert Madejski

Honorary Chairman of Reading F.C.
Sir John Robert Madejski founded Thames Valley Trader (later renamed Auto Trader) in 1976, and partnered with the Guardian Media Group in 1982 to give the title national exposure. In 1998, he sold his company, Hurst Publishing, for £174 million. As well as owning a large number of luxury cars, Madejski became chairman of Reading F.C. in 1990.
